Requirements
We run our fleet of vehicles which are split between Northern Ireland and UK mainland.
We needed to have visibility of our operations to see accurate up to the minute location of our vehicles. We also had a duty of care to our drivers and Historical reporting is paramount to our ongoing customer care. Solution
Fuel savings: Utilizing the historical journey reporting we have now defined the optimum routes for our drivers to take which has resulted in greatly reduced fuel bills
Confirm Locations: Utilizing the live mapping we are able to guide our drivers to their destination point and confirm their arrival and departure times thus giving our customers an accurate report for engineer’s time spent on site.
Communication: Our drivers often will out of mobile contact while on site, with using the Connect Vehicle Tracking system we are able to confirm their location.
Off Site Fuelling: The journey and POI reports from our Connect Vehicle Tracking system has enabled us to minimize excessive fuel stops , by entering easy to use geofences set to alert if any vehicles enter unauthorized sites.
Driver Performance; All our drivers are used to and happy with the Connect Vehicle Tracking system and we have seen a significant improvement in the driver’s performance and communication back to head office.
False Claims: We can now control personl milage more easily. along with the abilty to accurately pinpoint any vehicles movements both live and historic; this enables us to defend our position when claims arise with reports of engineers time on site, speed route taken etc.
